Resin Washed Galalith Earrings, Red over Cream, Vintage Plastics

These beautiful earrings are made of galalith, a must-have for serious collectors of vintage plastics. Galalith was utilized in many of the same ways Bakelite was, here resin washed in a classic cherry red. The beads are elegantly cut back to reveal the creamy white underneath. The round beads are accented with brass bead caps and small cream colored beads, made of galalith or possibly celluloid. The earrings measure around 1 1/2" long in total, with a 1" drop. They have stamped brass screw back hardware that is decorated with a delicate floral design.
Condition is excellent with no major issues to note. The brass screw back hardware functions perfectly, although there are some spots of discoloration to the metal.
