***** PRICE is ****** This is a practice-worn helmet of Phoenix Coyotes forward Vernon Fiddler from the 2009 NHL preseason. Fiddler was signed by Phoenix as a free agent in July 2009 after playing for the Nashville Predators since 2002 and never wearing a helmet. He wore this white Nike/Bauer helmet that appears to be a size medium in workouts before deciding to wear another brand and don a visor for the first time. The Coyotes equipment staff put this helmet in storage in case Fiddler changed his mind and marked it with his #38 on the back padding. Nike/Bauer logoed items were defunct about a year later. This helmet shows moderate overall use with all original team logos, numbering and NHL shield logo decal. Fiddler played two seasons for Phoenix and was with the Dallas Stars from 2011-16 before playing for the New Jersey Devils and Nashville in his final season in 16-17. This he
lmet was obtained directly from the Coyotes in a bulk equipment buy in 2012. Great item for any fan of NHL tough guys.
