Description

******* PRICE is 5 ****** This is a worn white road CCM helmet of
Arizona Coyotes defenseman Robbie Russo from the 2019-20 NHL season and his locker room nameplate from the team's 2018 and 2019 preseason training camps. Russo mainly played for the Coyotes' AHL affiliate in Tucson and had a brief callup in 2020. He took part in the pre-game skate on Feb. 8, 2020 in Boston but did not play in the game but was wearing this helmet (see photo). The helmet appears to be size
medium and it shows moderate overall use as he may have also wore it while playing for the Tucson Roadrunners. Both side logos have been removed from the visor by Russo. The helmet
has all original logos, #5 numbering, NHL shield logo and "JN" decal to honor the team's longtime massage therapist who died in June 2010. This
is now a defunct style helmet as the team no longer wear the "JN" decal after 10 years and no longer use ARIZONA and COYOTES on the sides of their home and road helmets. They instead use paid advertising logos as every NHL team switched to that for the 2020-21 season. T
he helmet was o
b
tained directly from the Coyotes in a bulk equipment buy. Buyer also gets Russo's laminated locker room nameplate (12 inches long by 2 inches wide). Both items were obtained directly from the Coyotes. Nice items for any fan of Russo who was a standout at Notre Dame from 2011-15 and played 19 games for the Detroit Red Wings in 2016-17. He signed with the San Jose Sharks' AHL affiliate in 2020-21 and had 2 goals and 13 assists in 34 games for the Barracuda.
